About the Artist

Kathleen  is a self taught artist and a native of California where she raised her family.  Exploring landscapes from the ocean to the mountains gave her an abundance of creative opportunities and inspirational subjects to paint.

While working as a full time educator Kathleen began studying watercolor painting with local artists.  As her skills progressed, she traveled throughout the US and Europe, painting with many talented artists. She owned and operated a small art gallery in the Sierra Nevada foothills for several years and taught watercolor  painting to young children.

Now retired, Kathleen lives her  lifelong passion of painting watercolor and oil, in her studio and abroad.
